Our 5 Agreements

1. Use Kind Words

Speak nicely to yourself and others. Words can build people up—let’s use them that way.

2. Don’t Take Things Personally

Everyone learns at their own speed. Feedback is about helping you grow, not about “you being wrong.”

3. Ask, Don’t Assume

If you’re not sure about something—ask! It’s better to be curious than to guess.

4. Do Your Best

Your best changes from day to day, and that’s okay. Just show up and try—that’s what matters.

5. Stay Open & Listen

Be open to new ideas. Question things with respect, and listen to what others have to share.

Our Pledge

(Call & Response)

Teacher: “What kind of words do we use?”
Students: “Kind words!”

Teacher: “How do we treat each other?”
Students: “With respect!”

Teacher: “What do we do when we don’t know?”
Students: “We ask, we don’t guess!”

Teacher: “What do we bring to every class?”
Students: “Our very best!”

Teacher: “And how do we learn?”
Students: “With open hearts and minds!”

Together (big cheer): “That’s the Praticus way!”

When we all follow these, our studio becomes a safe, fun, and neuroaffirming place where everyone can grow.
